Funeral arrangements have been announced for the Rev. Maurice S. Moore, father of Bishop Cynthia Moore-Koikoi. Rev. Moore died peacefully at 1 a.m. on Monday, November 19, 2018 surrounded by the sounds of hymns and love of his family. 

He was a retired clergy member of the Baltimore-Washington Conference who faithfully served congregations in Shepherdstown, WVA; Baltimore, Silver Spring and Frederick, MD over four decades of itinerant pastoral ministry. He retired from active ministry in 2000 and leaves a deep legacy of faithful discipleship. 

Services will held on Wednesday, November 28,2018  at:

Baltimore, Maryland 21217
Family hour: 10 a.m.
Celebration of Life: 11 a.m.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sharp Street Memorial United Methodist Church or the American Kidney Fund.
